DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:ABSTRACT: Extreme-scale and exascale systems impose new requirements on software to accommodate platforms with hundreds of homogeneous and heterogeneous cores, as well as energy, data movement and resiliency constraints within and across nodes. The goal of this BOF is to build on the momentum from the unveiling of the first OCR open-source release at SC12.  We will discuss improvements to OCR from multiple contributors, examples of growing interest from the community, and a roadmap for future extensions.  Through hands-on demonstrations of OCR code obtained from different programming models, we will demonstrate the efficacy of porting applications to the OCR execution model.
