DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:ABSTRACT: Come to booth 3146 to meet the 12 student teams competing in this real-time, non-stop, 48-hour challenge to assemble a computational cluster on the SC13 exhibit floor and demonstrate the greatest sustained performance across a series of applications. Teams selected for this year's competition come from universities (and one high school!) in the United States, Germany, China and Australia. The competition is divided into two tracks -- the Standard Track, using big iron hardware with a 26 amp power limit, and the Commodity Track, using off-the-shelf (or off-the-wall!) hardware with a $2500 price limit and a 15 amp power limit.
