This poster introduces gamification as a teaching technique, and discusses its application in the area of distributed HPC education through a graduate course at TU Delft. We discuss the goal and topics of the course; and the gamification mechanics, dynamics, and content-related elements. Over the past two years, we have seen an accumulation of evidence that gamified courses can lead to a high ratio of students who pass after the first attempt, and that gamification can be a promising technique.
